Opp. Art is a good conventional turn-based strategy war game - hexes and all. Essentially your typical board war game transferred to a PC. The focus is on historical detail, so its not one for those seeking real-time "shoot-em up", or fancy graphics.The game consists of a range of scenarios representing actual and fictional battles, from the 1940s and early 1950s. Historical scenarios include Normandy, Crete, Korea, Sicily, Crusader, Israel, and the Phillipines. The hypotheticals include a couple of post 45 US versus Russia battles. If you are a war game enthusiast or are interested in the history of World War 2, this will hold your attention. However, as with many PC strategy games, you will have more fun playing against a friend than the computer, as the artificial intelligence only offers so much of a challenge.
